Reconstruction works of scientific laboratory sections of joint nature research centre at Akademijos street 2, Vilnius. A nice four-storey building, in comparison with pre-existing, is significantly higher. Modern laboratory block of joint nature research centre that takes the area of almost 2 thousand sq. meters connected Biochemistry and Ecology institutes. Aluminium panels were used to equip ventilated, including curved, facades. Aluminium glass structures were used to ensure natural light. Exploitable roof terrace, effective heating, ventilation and engineering systems for laboratories were equipped. Illuminators with bactericidal lamps were used for lighting, modern lifts are not only energetically efficient, but they also do not require a special machine room. This project was evaluated for successfully implemented modern, integrated science laboratory complex construction project and for more than the minimum requirements for energy efficiency (Class B).
