The old fire and rescue station of Vilnius International airport built more than 20 years ago has become energetically inefficient, did not comply with international aviation safety standards.
The new fire and rescue station of Vilnius International airport was built and equipped after the assessment of long-term needs. Particular attention is devoted to building’s functionality, security of information systems, the possibilities of future development. The value of the project is 7,894 million LTL without VAT and it was financed from EU funds, state funds and company resources.
